Isolation WardThe isolation ward is used to care for animals that have a disease that could be a risk to others, such as coughing, or parvovirus - one cause of a serious condition in dogs with profuse diarrhoea and vomiting, often with blood. The isolation ward is essentially a completely separate facility, with its own equipment and strict disinfecting guidelines for staff and equipment. Visiting is discouraged in isolation to minimise the risk of spread of these diseases. CCTV is used to assist in the continuous monitoring of pets in this facility while minimising the need to enter too frequently. |
