About Glenfield

surgery_glenfieldThe Park Veterinary Hospital in Glenfield surgery has been awarded the highest Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons Standard of care – Hospital status (Tier 3). Our very own dedicated emergency service is also based at the Hospital so that you don’t have to travel far in an emergency. There are separate waiting areas for cats and dogs, as well as a dedicated reception for our referral service. There are 5 consulting rooms, 2 operating theatres and separate imaging and dental suites.

The small animal side of the Park Vet Group operates from 4 surgeries. Four of these are stand-alone clinics of 3-8 vets each, and one is a dedicated branch surgery for consulting and routine operations.

The four main surgeries are self-sufficient for all routine first opinion work and have their own fixed veterinary teams, promoting continuity for clients, and also for the vets the opportunity to work in a small close-knit unit, but with the back-up and expertise that you only get from a multi-person practice.

puppy2Throughout the practice we have veterinary expertise in dermatology and cardiology, and RCVS Advanced Veterinary Practitioners in Ophthalmology, Surgery and Emergency and Critical Care. We are a registered Nurse Training Practice and tier 3 MRCVS accredited (Hospital Level).

There is a strong ethos within the Park Vet Group to encourage continual professional development (CPD) which is on-going training to ensure that we are up to date with the most modern information and techniques. This benefits our staff, our clients and most importantly, our patients.
