The eagle-eyed amongst you will have noticed that we’re looking a little different these days. We’ve started to roll out our new branding, which includes a new logo and the strapline, you care. we care.
Rest assured though, that we are still the same, friendly, independent veterinary practice that we have always been. We’ve explained a little more about our reasons for the re-brand below. If you have any questions, we’d be more than happy to answer them.
We continuously look at what we do and how we do it, as part of our ongoing commitment of delivering quality and care to our clients. Recent research with some of our clients (thank-you to those who took part!) told us that they saw us as friendly and caring, which is exactly how we want to be always. Following our research, we looked at our marketing materials to ensure that these were consistent with the feedback and with our core ethos. We decided that it was time for a refresh and this gave us an opportunity to incorporate our caring message into our logo and our other materials.

You’ll see we’ve added a strapline to our logo. This is about recognising the close bond that you have with your animals: we know that this is a special bond, and we want to nurture and help you maintain that bond.
The logo also helps remind us at the practice of our promise to you: that we will always deliver the best standard of care with compassion, integrity and respect. These are our core values at Park Vet Group.
Our logo ‘look and feel’
You’ll see that our logo contains icons to reflect the type of practice that we are: it contains farm animal and pet images, and a clinician: this is to reflect our commitment to high standards of clinical care and also points to our own in-house referral service. The emergency image is about our commitment to providing round-the-clock care to you: we have our own emergency clinic based at the Glenfield surgery, which is manned 24/7, 365 days a year. You will always see a Park Vet Group vet, day or night.
Goodbye old logo
Those of you who have been with us a long time will know that our old logo is over 20 years old. It served its purpose at the time, but did not include any information about our values and our commitment to you. Our new logo reflects the fact that we are a modern, high quality, service-driven practice, committed to the community we work in.
You’ll see our new branding appearing on the website and on our communications. You’ll also spot it on the signage around the practice and on our vehicles. We hope you like it!
Still the same friendly, independent practice
Some of you might be wondering if there are other changes in the business structure of the practice. We want to reassure you that the structure remains the same as when it was founded over 100 years ago. It is solely owned by the six veterinary directors who all still work within the practice. The same ethos that made the directors want to follow a career working with animals is still the same core value that the practice is based around today: care and compassion for animals. All the people that work at Park Vet Group share the same values.
Being independent gives us flexibility to choose the most appropriate service, medicine or investigation for your animals, and that we consider to be in your and your animal’s best interests. We continually reinvest in the practice to have the best staff, the best equipment and the best service, so that you can be assured of the highest quality of care.
We look forward to continuing to serve the Leicester community for the next 100 years and more!
