Effective from 1st November 2020, our Whetstone branch will be closed on Saturday mornings. We know this will be a change that requires some time for you to adjust to. We want to reassure you that we will be there to guide you every step of the way. Answers to some FAQs can be found below. If you have any more specific questions please don’t hesitate to contact us.
Q: What does this mean if I need an appointment on Saturday?
A: Should your pet need to be seen on a Saturday morning our Glenfield surgery will be open 8am-1pm.
Q: Is it more expensive to be seen at Glenfield?
A: No. Our appointments will be running 8am-1pm at the normal rate. After 1pm our emergency team take over, seeing emergency and urgent cases and caring for the hospitalised patients.
Q: Can I still collect medication?
A: Yes but only from Glenfield. We would recommend you try to collect medication during the week so that we can ensure it is ordered in and ready for you.
Q: How do I contact Glenfield?
A: Our Whetstone phone number will automatically divert you to Glenfield as they do already when we are closed. Alternatively, call Glenfield directly on 0116 231 1635.
